CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Researchers involved in pharmacy practice research across Canada are invited to submit abstracts for live oral or poster presentations at the 2023 Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network (OPEN) Summit. We are thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of OPEN!

This event will focus on the theme of "Closing Care Gaps". Presentations can focus on completed research findings or research in progress.

This Call for Abstracts is open to all individuals and groups across Canada, including trainees, new investigators, and practitioners. This event will bring together researchers, educators, policy makers, healthcare professionals, knowledge users and trainees to learn about current pharmacy research and to engage in discussions about improving pharmacy practice and primary healthcare across Canada and globally.

For Oral presentations, preference will be given to completed research findings (vs in-progress research) and we encourage you to include one of your knowledge users as a presenter.

For Poster presentations, we are accepting both completed research findings and in-progress research.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
• Title of presentation

• Name, affiliation, and email address(es) of presenter(s)

• Names of co-author(s)

• Preference for oral or poster presentation

• Inclusion of Knowledge User(s)

• Abstract of up to 300 words describing the background, purpose, methods, results (if applicable) and conclusion

TIMELINES: Call for abstracts will close on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:59PM EST. Presenters will be chosen by an abstract review panel and notified in early August 2023.

The 2023 OPEN Summit will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at The Faculty Club, University of Toronto located at 41 Willcocks Street, Toronto, M5S 1C7 from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
