Thank you for your interest in joining this youth advisory group!

Our research team is currently completing a research project on the topic of transition-age youth mental health and resilience. You are invited to join the research team as a youth advisor to share your perspectives on the research aims, methods, results, and potential implications. Overall, this project aims to explore processes of resilience and functional recovery among transition-age youth who have experienced serious mental illness.

Youth advisors will contribute to ongoing studies by:

  • Joining group meetings to consult and provide feedback on the research goals and methods.
  • Sharing your input on the relevance and applicability of the research.
  • Collaborating with student and faculty researchers at the University of Toronto.
  • Participating in the development of resources / materials to share research results with the broader community.

You will receive compensation for your time.
